The Promenade at Westlake is preparing to welcome the holiday season with its highly anticipated Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, a community tradition that draws families and visitors from across the area. The celebration is scheduled for Friday evening and promises a full lineup of festive entertainment and holiday themed activities.

The main event begins at seven thirty in the evening. Guests can look forward to live musical performances that help set a cheerful holiday mood. Santa Claus will make a special appearance to greet attendees of all ages, adding an extra touch of magic to the night. As the festivities continue, the highlight of the evening will be the illumination of the Promenade’s sixty foot tall Christmas tree. The ceremony will conclude with a fireworks show that lights up the night sky and officially marks the start of the holiday season at the outdoor shopping center.

Those who arrive earlier in the afternoon will have the opportunity to experience the Holiday Market which opened at four o’clock. The market features a variety of family friendly activities along with seasonal tastings and samples provided by several of the Promenade’s popular dining establishments. Participating restaurants include Neighborly, Superba Food and Bread, Fogo de Chao, Shake Shack, and other nearby favorites. The market offers a relaxed and festive environment where guests can browse, snack, and enjoy the atmosphere leading up to the main ceremony.

For anyone unable to attend Friday’s event the holiday celebrations will continue over the weekend with the debut of Santa’s Cottage at the Promenade at Westlake. Presented in partnership with Disney Plus and Hulu the cottage will open to families on Saturday. Reservations are strongly encouraged in order to guarantee a time to visit with Santa although limited walk in opportunities will be available depending on crowd levels. Santa’s Cottage will remain open throughout the holiday season and will operate until Christmas Eve providing families with a chance to capture holiday photos and enjoy an intimate seasonal experience.

Guests who are interested in attending any of the holiday events can find further details including schedules location information and reservation links on the Promenade at Westlake’s official website. The center encourages the community to join in celebrating the beginning of the holiday season and to enjoy the wide range of entertainment and activities planned over the coming weeks.
